36 weeks!

I didn't realize how long it had been since I had posted about Anderson! We are a month or less away from meeting him and it seems surreal. Sometimes I wonder how we will handle two bits at once, but I know that the good and fun will outweigh the hectic times.

Anderson is doing well and growing right on track. The doctor is very pleased with our progress. Anderson moves a lot and he is good at giving me lots of heartburn. Just a few more weeks and we can post pictures of his sweet face!

23 weeks

Anderson is as big as an eggplant! Weighing in at approximately 1.10lbs and measuring 11.38in.  His brain and hearing are more developed this week and he is starting to recognize mommy, daddy, and Clinton's voice more and more.

22 weeks

How far along? Almost 22 weeks

How big is the baby? He is the size of the cantaloupe. Weight: 12.7oz Length: 10.51in

Total weight gain/loss? 6lbs at last doctor's visit (18 weeks)

Maternity clothes? Mostly. I can still wear dresses and shirts that aren't maternity.

Sleep? Decent. I usually wake up at some point to go to the bathroom.

Best moment this week? Feeling very strong kicks!

Symptoms? None really.

Food cravings? I'm just always hungry!

Food aversions? Nothing this week.

Gender? It's a boy!

Labor signs? None.
 
Belly button in or out? In.

What I miss? Beer!

What I'm looking forward to? Daddy being out of school

18 weeks

Our little boy is growing!  And he is indeed a little BOY!  We really enjoyed getting to see him on an ultrasound this week.  It's different the second time around because we are more laid back and not worried or wondering about every little thing.  Although, most of our time is taken up by chasing around a 19 month old. We're so excited to for Clinton to have a brother to grow up with!

BW2

Oh what a blessing to have another little one on the way.  We've have appropriately named this baby Baby Wilder 2 or BW2 for short. 

We always said that we wanted our first two to be about 2 years apart and we got our wish!  Clint's birthday is October 14th and we're due with BW2 on October 10th.  I apologized to him that he may have to share his birthday, but everyone tells me he won't mind (at least until he's older).

We've been asked if we want a boy or girl and honestly we would love another healthy, smart little one.  I would be so blessed to have a daughter at some point, but I could also see myself as just a boy mom :)  Either way, we love this baby so much already and are thrilled that God has given us another blessing.

We had our second appointment this morning and got to hear BW2's heartbeat for the first time.  It was a strong 162!  Clinton's was 148 at the same appointment for those who are curious.  We were able to schedule our anatomy ultrasound for Wednesday, May 13th (a few weeks earlier than last time), so pray for a healthy reading!
